I’m playing with a tool called Writely – One of the many ajax office solutions available.

It joins tools such as Jotspot Tracker, Rallypoint (an online ajax word/wiki product), JotSpot Live, Zoho Writer and others like Writeboard and the yet-to-be-launched Chalk in this category – a wysiwyg wiki and a sharable online version of word are effectively synonyms).

Imagine Word, but as an ajax browser application that was free. And allowed tagging of documents. And you could set reader permissions for each document you create and allow others to edit the document, or just read it. That allow you to links from your blog, or a wiki or elsewhere. Thats what these tools do.

Edit: here’s a blog post from Writely.
