It was requested as a feature to populate sidebars. However, if you (or other people) want to embed random feeds in a post (a thought I had never had) I could add a filter so that you could do something like: <!--randomFeed:file=xyz.txt--> this way you can override the default random feed file and thus use it to show different sets of random feeds in different posts and not have to have an additional plugin installed. Also, if you ever have a question about the plugin (feedList) or want a new feature, feel free to drop by the google group (http://groups.google.com/group/wp-feedlist) and post a message.
