Update; China produces about 14.5% of the planet’s alleged global warming emissions. Australia produces only 1.6%. One of the issues in Australia is the benefit of reducing emissions, if no one else does so. Consider it an ROI question - if Australian consumers, workers and industries bear the economic effects of reducing emissions, but China does not reduce emissions, what benefit do Australians gain ?.
