HP to sell Linux Desktops in Australia

HP plans to sell desktop systems with Red Hat 5 in Australia. The HP dx2250 has a base price of $AU600, which is about $490 US dollars.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Desktop will come pre-loaded on the HP dx2250 desktop computer — an AMD-based model.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Desktop also comes with OpenOffice preinstalled, Firefox for web browsing and Evolution for email .
Red Hat will also offer Level One, Level Two and Level Three technical support for the solution. HP’s announcement did not make clear whether any free software support would be included
