Reveal Passwords in Internet Explorer
By Martin English | January 5, 2008
AsterWin is a small piece of software by Nirsoft. The utility will scan all open Internet Explorer windows and reveal the password behind the asterisks. However, this only works if the password is stored on the computer and displayed once you visit the site or enter the username.
Firefox has the Password Manager (Tools –> Options –> Security –> Show Passwords) that reveals all passwords that you have saved with the current fx profile.
