Error Messages for Windows
By Martin English | March 17, 2008
Windows will spit out baffling error messages at the most inconvenient times. Whether you’re trying to start or end a program or process, up pops a window letting you know that there’s an error. But instead of explaining what you’re doing wrong or how to fix it, you get an error code number.
Now, you could rely on the age old custom of typing that code into Google and clicking on the first site that seems like it can help.
Or you can install Error Messages for Windows, a tiny application that will help you figure out what’s going on without firing up your web browser. Just type your error code into the box and Error Messages for Windows will show you what the message means.
